1.The veneer is too dry to cause wrinkles or even cracks
Such problems occur mostly in the laminate flooring of thick veneer. Because the geothermal environment of the northern geothermal environment requires low moisture content of the veneer, it can reduce the surface crack of the surface plate in the geothermal environment. Therefore, in the drying process of the watchboard, the moisture content of the watchboard is too low, and some even reach below 4%, causing the board surface to be cracked. During the floor painting process, the primer is sucked into the crack until the floor is finished. No problems will be found. During the use of the floor, after the moisture absorption, the expansion of the surface plate is greater than the expansion amount of the substrate, the substrate limits the expansion of the surface plate, and the surface plate is subjected to compressive stress, and the paint of the panel slit is extruded to form a wrinkle phenomenon. .
The wrinkling of the surface layer caused by the darkness of the surface plate changes with the change of the environment. As the ambient humidity increases, the compressive stress on the surface of the watch increases, and the wrinkling of the surface layer becomes more pronounced. As the ambient humidity decreases, the moisture content of the floor decreases, the surface of the watch plate is subjected to tensile stress, and the paint film is gradually absorbed into the cracked gap of the surface layer. This wrinkling phenomenon becomes inconspicuous.
During this change, the paint film of the wrinkled portion is convex and arranged along the direction of the wood grain, and the paint surface is not significantly damaged.
2.Wrinkle of the surface caused by improper waterproof treatment
This kind of problem mainly occurs in multi-layer solid wood composite flooring, especially the multi-layer solid wood composite flooring with thinner floor coverings. Since the top layer of the floor is vertically pasted with the next layer (secondary outer layer) of the top layer. During the installation process, due to improper moisture treatment, a large amount of moisture plunged into the floor, and the sub-outer layer of the floor expands, causing the table to wrinkle.
Wrinkles are the length direction of the vertical floor and extend along the width of the floor at the gap between the two floors.
Such problems are not a product quality problem and are caused by improper installation. When installing the floor, be sure to clean the floor to keep the floor smooth and flat. Do a good job of moisture-proof treatment on the ground. The wet ground must be covered with a moisture-proof membrane. The joint of the moisture-proof membrane should be tightly sealed with waterproof tape to ensure airtightness. If it is a geothermal environment, some tape will be degummed after being heated, causing ventilation. To install the floor in a geothermal environment, it is best to lay a layer of polyethylene plastic film on the ground surface to effectively control such problems.
3.Cracking caused by insufficient installation gap
This problem mainly occurs in thick-skinned multi-layer parquet and three-layer parquet. Some people neglect the deformation of the floor when installing the above floor, and some people mistakenly believe that the parquet is not deformed. Therefore, during the installation process of the floor, the moisture-proof is not good, the reserved gap is insufficient, the floor is expanded after being damp, and the surface of the plate is crushed to cause surface cracking. For solid wood composite flooring, the thicker the surface layer, the more obvious the characteristics of the solid wood floor, and the greater the risk of cracking. The thinner the surface layer, the less obvious the characteristics of the solid wood floor, and the lower the risk of cracking. Therefore, in the complaints we accepted, the multi-layer parquet with a 0.6mm thin surface layer was not cracked.
Most of the cracks generated by the cracked multi-layer parquet appear at the end of the floor, and a few appear in the middle. If there is no gap between the two sides of the floor and the wall at this time (it should be summer in the north), walking around the room is likely to be accompanied by a sound, and the foot feels a little soft. When severely cracked, the surface of the crack can overlap each other.
If the floor is found to be caused by cracking, under humid environmental conditions, if it is not treated in time, the crack will become more and more serious. In case of such problems, the floor should be released from the wall to cover the gap.
4.Color layer cracking in dry heat environment
The cracking of the watchboard in the dry heat environment is also called face cracking, which is the most encountered problem of solid wood composite flooring, especially in the northern part of China. We have described in previous articles that the cracking of the solid wood laminate floor in the north is due to the tensile stress of the surface in the dry heat environment. The thicker the surface layer, the greater the tensile stress generated, and the greater the chance of cracking. . Therefore, the solid wood composite floor in the geothermal environment uses more thin skin. In fact, we can use prestressing technology to solve the cracking problem of the surface layer in the geothermal environment.
The crack at the crack is relatively large, the paint film and the watch plate are both broken, and the sides of the slit are separated. This phenomenon changes with the environment. The dryer the environment, the greater the tensile stress on the surface of the board, and the more obvious the crack on the board surface. As the ambient humidity increases, the tensile stress on the surface of the board decreases, and the crack on the board surface becomes less obvious. Therefore, the surface crack of the solid wood composite floor mainly appears in the northern part of China, especially in the geothermal environment.
Therefore, the use of pre-stress technology is the most effective way to solve the cracking of solid wood composite floor. At the same time, proper control of the environmental humidity of users in the northern region can also reduce the occurrence of surface cracking.
5.Wrinkle caused by inconsistent core shrinkage
After our experiments, it is found that the structure of the solid wood composite floor is unreasonable and can cause wrinkling on the surface of the board. For example, when the thickness of the surface layer is less than 2 mm, the thickness of the core slats of the middle layer of the three-layer solid wood composite floor is inconsistent. During the use of the floor, the core board changes with the change of the environmental humidity. The thickness of the strip is inconsistent. After passing through the surface of the strip, lateral corrugations are produced on the surface of the strip. If the thickness of the surface layer is more than 3 mm, the thickness of the core strip does not pass through the surface layer.
In addition, there is a solid wood composite floor similar to the blockboard structure in the market. As in the above case, due to the inconsistent shrinkage of the core strips of the intermediate layer, the floor during use, especially the dry heat environment in the north, will be on the floor. The surface reveals the outline of the core strip. Therefore, the thickness of the uppermost two layers of such a structural floor must be thickened.
Thin skin (0.6mm) multi-layer parquet is used in the long-term placement in the mall, we can see many horizontal small ripples against the sunlight, such problems in the processing of the floor and the factory inspection process Can not see, some people mistakenly believe that the substrate sanding is not good, is the quality of the product. The real reason is that the layer below the surface layer of the floor (the secondary outer layer) is pasted perpendicularly to the top layer, and the veneer of the second outer layer is rotated, and the early and late material shrinkage (or expansion) of one annual ring in the veneer There are also differences, especially the ring material is more pronounced. During the use of the floor or during the long-term placement process, due to changes in the moisture content of the floor, the early and late material shrinkage (or expansion) of the secondary outer veneer is inconsistent, and the thickness of the early and late wood materials is slightly different. Transverse ripples are created through the surface layer. This kind of ripple is not obvious, does not affect the use, and is not a product quality problem.
